On Saturday night (18), at 7:40 pm, at the Salvador Convention Center, during the Bahia Book Biennial, singer and songwriter Middah Borges starred in a remarkable moment by launching her autobiography "From Brazil to the Stages of Europe".
The event brought together admirers, friends and cultural professionals who closely followed the celebration of a trajectory built between Bahia and the international scene. In conversation with journalist and presenter Doinha Prata, Middah highlighted the emotion of transforming her life story into a book.
"It's been a great emotion to launch my autobiography," said the artist, visibly moved.
During the interview, Middah also made a point of honoring her friend Clarindo Silva, whom she defined as "the resistance of Pelourinho" and a fundamental figure in her musical trajectory. The singer also emphasized that her journey was built with perseverance, highlighting the expression that marks her history: "a long journey."
Middah was also part of the collection "Bahia o que nos Move," an anthology with 60 co-authors, released by the publisher BFK.
The night gained an even more special shine when the artist transformed the launch space itself, at the BFK Books stand, into a true stage. Without formalities, Middah enchanted the audience by singing excerpts from her hits, accompanied by percussionist Ivanzinho Pacapuco.
As a surprise, the singer also presented a spoiler of her new song, "Eleva To Flight," a collaboration with Angolan artist Don Kikas, in addition to anticipating details about the music video that accompanies the release.
At the end, Middah Borges thanked the fans and friends present for their affection, dedicating time for dedications and photos, in a gesture of closeness and gratitude.
The evening not only solidified the launch of a book, but also celebrated a journey that unites music, literature, and cultural identity, reaffirming the strength of Bahian art on the international stage.
