Doinha Prata launches three anthologies at the Bahia Book Biennial 2026 and celebrates her literary career in Salvador

The city of Salvador was the stage for a landmark moment for literature and communication this weekend, during the Bahia Book Biennial 2026, held at the Convention Center. On Saturday (18), at 6:30 pm, journalist, presenter, columnist and CEO of the programs EI!!! VC TÁ AÍ?! and Rádio Doinha Prata FM Brasil, África, Portugal and Jamaica, Doinha Prata, launched the anthology “Bahia – O que nos Move”, alongside 59 other authors, published by BFK Books. In the work, the co-author presents a sensitive and powerful account of the trajectory of musician, teacher and businessman Ivanzinho Pacapuco, addressing his story from his mother's womb to the present day, highlighting his cultural and artistic contribution. On Sunday (19), Doinha Prata further expanded her literary participation with the launch of two more anthologies: “The Art of Not Connecting the Dots”, which offers an approach to affective memory with playful elements, such as a tongue twister, and “Stories that Embrace the World”, where she shares her own life trajectory and professional work in communication. The communicator's participation in the three works reinforces her active role in valuing stories, experiences and characters that contribute to the construction of cultural identity. Special Thanks Amidst this moment of achievement, Doinha Prata made a point of expressing special thanks to the CEO of BFK Books, Caroline Borba: “I want to express my deep gratitude to Caroline Borba for her trust, encouragement, and for believing in my work. Her sensitive perspective, her dedication to literature, and her commitment to valuing new and diverse authors make all the difference in the publishing landscape. Being part of these works is also a result of her encouragement and the opportunity she provides to so many writers to tell their stories to the world. Thank you so much for opening doors, for believing in us, and for walking alongside us on this mission to transform lives through writing.” With a strong presence at the Biennial, Doinha Prata reaffirms her versatility by moving between communication and literature, consolidating herself as an active voice in promoting culture inside and outside of Brazil. @doinhaprata @eivctaaioficial
