Entrepreneur and cover star of the 16th edition of Tok de Empreendedorismo magazine, celebrated her journey alongside family, friends, and guests at an event organized by Peta Lessa. Press Release Sonia Mello (@soniamelloatelie), entrepreneur and cover star of the 16th edition of Tok de Empreendedorismo magazine, celebrated her 70th birthday on August 22nd, in an evening marked by emotion, affection, music, family, and many special encounters. The event inaugurated the Espaço Olegário Enfesta party venue and brought together more than 150 guests to celebrate the life and journey of a woman who transformed talent, work, and courage into a legacy. The celebration was organized by Peta Lessa (@peta_lessa), a close friend and partner of Sonia, leader of the group Amigas das Amigas da Peta (@amigasdasamigasdapeta), a network to which Sonia belongs and through which the opportunity arose for her to be featured on the magazine's cover. One of the most emotional moments of the evening was Sonia's entrance into the hall, descending the stairs alongside her granddaughter Letícia. The scene symbolized the strength of a story built with dedication, family, faith, work, and love. Sonia also celebrated the evening with her husband Jair Alves, her granddaughter Letícia, friends, family, and guests. The party also featured singer Marcos Vivan, who entertained the crowd. Dana Sofía Tayo Rosero: A 10-Year-Old Girl Presents Almorismo at the United Nations, an Art Movement Born in the United States

Dana Sofía Tayo Rosero

The young Ecuadorian artist, now living in New Jersey, brought her first official work, “Loving Mona Lisa,” to an international human rights setting.

DOVER, NEW JERSEY / NEW YORK.— Dana Sofía Tayo Rosero, 10, born in Ambato, Ecuador, is beginning to write a remarkable chapter in children’s art through the creation of Almorismo, a pictorial movement born in the United States and presented in the context of the 2026 International Human Rights Summit at the United Nations.

Dana is the daughter of Norma Leticia Rosero Espinoza and renowned Ecuadorian artist Gonzalo Tayo Silva, GOTASI, creator of Chromatic Pyramidism. She grew up surrounded by canvases, colors, exhibitions, interviews and the artistic world of her father. Her family even preserves early footage of Dana approaching canvases and painting when she had only just begun to walk.

Almorismo, officially born on February 14, takes its name from two ideas: soul and love. Its purpose is to express, through the sensitivity of childhood, values such as peace, friendship, hope, nature, unity and respect.

Dana is currently a fifth-grade student at North Dover Elementary School in Dover, New Jersey. Although she was born in Ecuador, Almorismo was born in the United States and is now beginning its international journey.

Her first official work, “Loving Mona Lisa” (“Mona Lisa Amorosa”), reinterprets a universally recognized image through the language of love, incorporating hearts, color, nature and symbols of affection.

A preliminary review of art-history precedents has so far not identified another documented equivalent of a 10-year-old girl creating, naming and developing the philosophy and visual language of her own pictorial movement. For this reason, Dana’s case stands out as an exceptional development in contemporary children’s art.

In 2026, Dana presented Almorismo and “Loving Mona Lisa” in the context of the United Nations, where she presented the work to Dr. Mary Shuttleworth, President of Youth for Human Rights International. Shuttleworth expressed her willingness to continue promoting human rights education while also embracing the message of Almorismo as an artistic way to communicate love, peace, dignity and respect.

As part of this experience, Dana also received a commemorative piece marking the 25th anniversary of Youth for Human Rights International, associated with a tsavorite, a highly regarded green gemstone. For Dana and her family, its significance lies not in its monetary value, but in what it represents: a lasting symbol of an international experience devoted to human rights.

Dana Sofía

Dana and her family have decided to donate this commemorative piece to North Dover Elementary School, presented in a special case, as a gesture of gratitude and as a message to other students: every child has talents, dreams and abilities that deserve to be discovered and encouraged.

At just 10 years old, Dana Sofía Tayo Rosero is beginning a journey of her own with an art movement born in the United States, rooted in Ecuador, and guided by a universal aspiration: to carry love, peace and human rights through art.
