The Chapada Oscar Award, conceived by CPVS Produções under the leadership of sportsperson and communicator César Augusto Vaz Sampaio, popularly known as "César Pisquila," is one of the most prestigious regional recognition ceremonies in Bahia. Held annually in Itaberaba, the award honors individuals and institutions that excel in areas fundamental to the development of Chapada Diamantina and Piedmont do Paraguaçu, including entrepreneurship, sports, public safety, the press, culture, the social sector, and public administration.

Since the first edition in 2019, journalist and presenter Thiago Mastroianni has served as master of ceremonies, leading the event with charisma, lightheartedness, and professionalism. In 2025, he returns to host the 5th edition of the Chapada Oscar Awards, which will take place on November 28, 2025, at the Algo Mais Buffet in Itaberaba, Bahia, reinforcing the award's identity and prestige.
