Handam is a Gypsy singer, songwriter, and musician. An award-winner, he received the Honorary Motion in 2016 and 2025, and was honored by the Rio de Janeiro City Council as a distinguished musician and by the Brazilian Sovereign Academy of Arts of the State of Rio de Janeiro (2025).
A renowned singer and songwriter of Gypsy music (Rumba and Salsa), international versions, and Forró, he has traveled Brazil and the world with his shows and his band Casa Nueva.
Handam is also a speaker, photo model, and therapist.
