Learn about the successful career of singer Handam

Handam is a Gypsy singer, songwriter, and musician. An award-winner, he received the Honorary Motion in 2016 and 2025, and was honored by the Rio de Janeiro City Council as a distinguished musician and by the Brazilian Sovereign Academy of Arts of the State of Rio de Janeiro (2025). A renowned singer and songwriter of Gypsy music (Rumba and Salsa), international versions, and Forró, he has traveled Brazil and the world with his shows and his band Casa Nueva.
