Ruth Helena is a singer of Axé, MPB, Pop and other genres, and has lived in Salvador for six years. She has performed with names such as Jau and Cicinho de Assis.
In her performances, she is always accompanied by important musicians such as Germano Barbosa, guitarist for names such as Luiz Caldas, Reinaldo from Terra Samba, Banda Eva and Talmai Neto, guitarist for Márcia Freire, Hélio Sauro, among others.
In 2024, the artist led a nano trio at the Festa do Dia 2 de Fevereiro and drew a crowd. It was an absolute success!
In 2025, also at the Festa do Dia 2 de Fevereiro, the singer performed in the Cortejo of the traditional Festa de Iemanjá, with the project "Canto ao Mar". Accompanied by her band and a small trio, Ruth brought the public a special repertoire, with Carnival classics and songs that paid homage to the Queen of the Sea.
During the June Festivals, Ruth will also be performing the "Forró Pavio de Candeeiro" project, presenting classics by great artists of Northeastern music.
