The event will take place on November 13th (Thursday), at 3 pm, in the Children's Section of the Monteiro Lobato Library, located at Praça Almeida Coito, s/n, Nazaré neighborhood, in Salvador (BA). At 76 years old, Maria Izabel reaffirms her creative vitality and dedication to Bahian literature. A professor of Portuguese Language and Brazilian Literature, she is recognized for her work committed to valuing regional culture and identities, sensitively portraying the backlands, women, and popular imagination. In her new work, "Cinderela Sertaneja" (Country Cinderella), the author promises to move the audience with a poetic narrative that celebrates female strength, oral tradition, and the beauty of stories from the Brazilian backlands.
